Ryan co-starred in the reality television series The Real Hustle, which aired on the truTV network in 2008. The show demonstrated how con artists use psychology, misdirection, and clever ploys to scam innocent victims out of their money. Together with his co-stars, Apollo Robbins and Dani Marco, Ryan used his skills as a sleight-of-hand artist to help pull off more than 50 scams over the course of 8 episodes. All the scams were short cons pulled on real people throughout New York City.
