I had the pleasure of performing at a charity dinner event at Gracie Mansion last month, benefiting the Gracie Mansion Conservancy. As it turns out, Mayor Bloomberg loves magic and I was able to show him a quick illusion with a $1 dollar bill. Upon lending me the dollar, he quipped, “This is my entire salary as mayor!”. Which, to his immense credit, is completely true. That all said, it was an honor to perform for him and his staff.
